Michael Julius Emilio Alibe

South Sudan

Michael is a youth advocate, educator, and civic leader, committed to inclusive governance, education, and gender equality. He currently serves as a Youth Legal Ambassador at the Come Let’s Read Initiative, where he promotes literacy, active citizenship, and youth participation in governance. He is a former UNDP Student Ambassador and works as a Program Officer at Banat Power Initiative, an initiative dedicated to empowering young girls and women to become their strongest and most confident selves. Alongside his advocacy work, he is a public speaker who engages young people on leadership, equality, and civic responsibility. Michael believes real change happens when youth, especially young women and youth are trusted with voice, power, and opportunity.
