Niyonshuti Jean Claude

Rwanda

Niyonshuti Jean Claude is a youth leader and advocate for gender equity and equality, with strong research and analytical skills that inform his advocacy and community engagement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Geography Education from the University of Rwanda, College of Education, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Development Studies. He has worked with Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT Rwanda) and Corps Africa, supporting youth, women, and persons with disabilities through research-informed training in entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and leadership development. As the Founder of NTA Foundation, he promotes youth-led advocacy, evidence-based decision-making, and inclusive policies that address gender disparities and advance inclusive development.

The International Youth Council on Gender Equality represents the voices of young leaders from around the world, working together to break down barriers and create lasting change.
