Sofia Trotti is a passionate advocate for women’s rights and gender equality, with several years of experience working at the intersection of policy, advocacy, and programme implementation. Originally from Italy, she has lived in five countries and considers herself a true global citizen. She graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome in July 2024 with a Master’s degree in International Relations, building a strong academic focus on EU Affairs. Her professional experience includes working with UN Women, civil society organizations, and in close contact with EU institutions in Brussels. Sofia is particularly interested in international development and humanitarian action, and strongly believes that gender equality is essential to sustainable development, social justice, and inclusive governance.
