Najat Seidu

Ghana

Najat Seidu is a dedicated Youth Leader and a prominent SRHR activist from Ghana, with extensive experience advancing sexual and reproductive health rights, particularly in the areas of Child Marriage, SGBV and Unpaid care work. She works to dismantle systemic barriers and empower marginalized women and girls in Northern Ghana. As a committed Youth Leader, Najat founded the Young at Heart initiative to end harmful practices in her community. Najat is currently a member of the Youth Advisory Board for the Ghana SRHR Alliance for young people. She was also a member of the Global Management Team for PowerToYou(th) as a Youth Representative.
