Yasmin Qarout is an early-career human rights and international law practitioner with a strong academic background and hands-on experience gained through internships and volunteer roles in migration, refugee protection, and gender equality. She holds an LLM in International Law from SOAS University of London and has contributed to work with the United Nations and humanitarian organizations supporting human rights, with emphasis on displaced communities. Fluent in Arabic, English, and Spanish, with a beginner's proficiency in French, Yasmin is particularly passionate about advancing the rights of women and children in conflict-affected settings. Her interests lie in rights-based advocacy, research, and refugee protection.
