Yassmine Hkimi is a trainee lawyer and common law researcher specializing in international environmental law. Her research focuses on climate justice and gender equality, with particular attention to the disproportionate impact of environmental harm on girls and young women. Using feminist and comparative legal analysis, she aspires to strengthen legal systems to make them more inclusive, equitable, and responsive to lived realities. She engages in international youth initiatives, bridging her research with action to ensure that young people’s voices and perspectives are heard and considered.
