Gofiwa Mosweunyane is a Law and Public Administration graduate, an aspiring policy analyst, SRHR activist and dedicated youth advocate committed to advancing gender equality and inclusive governance. As Minister of Child Welfare and Basic Education in Model Parliament’s second cohort, she championed the voices of young people in shaping policy. Outside of her role, she was actively engaging in conversations on gender based violence and power dynamics to amplify women’s participation in decision-making. As an aspiring diplomat and policy leader, she aims to represent Botswana’s youth with integrity and vision, creating platforms where young people, especially young women are empowered to influence meaningful social and political change.
