Promise Chipeta is a youth advocate, social worker, and community leader from Malawi who is passionate about empowering young people, advancing gender equality, and creating safe spaces for healing and growth. She is the founder of Girl Up Aspire x VytalRise Movement, an initiative dedicated to supporting survivors, promoting education for girls, and fostering youth entrepreneurship. Promise began her leadership journey at the age of 15 when she established her own Girl Up community club and has since served in various national and global leadership roles. Her work spans community development, comprehensive sexuality education, disability inclusion, and youth participation. A graduate in Social Work in Community Development, she believes in the power of compassion, storytelling, and collective action to transform lives. Beyond advocacy, Promise enjoys traveling, painting, exploring nature, and connecting with diverse cultures and communities around the world.
