Bibhuti Thapaliya

Nepal 

Bibhuti Thapaliya is a medical student, mental health advocate, and youth leader committed to advancing gender equality through inclusive, evidence-based action. With experience in peer support, community leadership, and mental health advocacy, she works at the intersection of health, gender, and social justice. She has contributed to national and global initiatives through roles with the Global Mental Health Peer Network, Safe In Our World, and multiple youth-led organizations. As an Ambassador with the International Youth Council on Gender Equality, she aims to amplify youth voices, promote equitable mental health access, and support policies that center dignity, safety, and lived experience.
