Isabel Taubert

Isabel Taubert is an undergraduate student at the Australian National University (ANU) in the penultimate semester of a double degree in International Relations and Business Administration, minoring in German Languages and Culture. As an intern for the German Embassy in Canberra Isabel worked on a research report on the role of foreign industry in civic society, findings from which she hopes to contribute to issues of civic society regarding gender equality.  Isabel has studied Gender Economics and Global Policy Analysis on exchange in Switzerland, and has conducted research at the ANU on female participation in pronatalism and in political violence. As an Ambassador with the IYCGE, she aims to help develop nuanced insight into complex, multifaceted issues and identify with evidence how to put human dignity first in policy making, research, and debate.
