Afghanistan

Marwa is a young education activist and advocate for gender equality, human rights, and youth empowerment. She is the Founder and President of She Leads Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization advancing Afghan women through free online education, leadership training, and mentorship. Her work is rooted in resistance to gender apartheid and systemic inequality in Afghanistan, where girls and women have been denied access to education beyond the sixth grade since August 2021. She works tirelessly to create safe and inclusive learning opportunities for Afghan girls, empowering them with knowledge and leadership skills.

She also serves on the Advisory Board of Amplify Afghan Women, an international initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices and leadership of Afghan women globally. Beyond digital education, she has volunteered as an English teacher and helped establish a community library in Kabul with over 1,500 books. As a writer and poet, she strives to be a voice for those who have been silenced. Through her advocacy and leadership, she is committed to advancing meaningful change and shaping a world rooted in justice, equality, and opportunity for all.
