Daren Paul Katigbak is a nurse, midwife and public-health professional based in the Philippines. As an educator and researcher on gender and sexuality, he advances sexual and reproductiveAs an educator and researcher on gender and sexuality, he advances sexual and reproductive health and rights and gender equality through evidence-based programs and youth mobilisation. During his tenure as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), he led strategic efforts to expand access, protect rights, and strengthen meaningful and ethical youth engagement. Daren Paul also develops participatory guidelines and capacity-building initiatives that amplify young women’s and girls’ voices, strengthen protection, and expand meaningful youth leadership for gender justice and inclusion locally and across the region.
