Michel Karabo Zondo

South Africa

Karabo Zondo holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in International and Political Studies from Rhodes University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Organisational Psychology from the University of Witwatersrand. With expertise in research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement, Karabo has contributed to qualitative research projects and data collection initiatives. Her academic focus on migration, African politics, and social policy, combined with hands-on experience in research transcription and student mentorship, reflects her commitment to evidence-based approaches and inclusive leadership. As Global Ambassador for South Africa, Karabo is passionate about advancing gender equality through informed research and advocacy, and fostering meaningful dialogue on international affairs.

The International Youth Council on Gender Equality represents the voices of young leaders from around the world, working together to break down barriers and create lasting change.
