Patricia Orry Ginting

Patricia Orry Ginting (Orry) is the Director of Communications at the International Youth Council for Gender Equality, where she aims to strengthen the council’s global visibility and foster meaningful collaboration among young changemakers worldwide.
Originally from Indonesia, Orry has lived in seven countries and considers herself a true global citizen. She graduated from the International School of Phnom Penh in August 2025 after completing the International Baccalaureate program, and is now pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Leiden University College The Hague, where she plans to major in Governance, Economics, and Development. She is particularly interested in international development and humanitarian work.
Orry has also volunteered with organizations such as the AusCam Freedom Project and ChildFund, and brings strong leadership experience through her roles as Head of Press for the ISPPMUN 2024 regional conference and as Communications Officer at LUC Nexus, where she works to connect students with professional opportunities. Through these roles, Orry has gained extensive experience, developing skills in graphic design, social media management, academic writing, and cross-cultural communication.
Outside of her studies, Orry enjoys live music, cinema, and spending time with loved ones. Passionate about the arts as a force for social change, she believes creativity and artistry are powerful tools for advancing social justice and advocacy, hoping to incorporate them into future initiatives.
