The Financial Operations Department functions as the strategic and economic core of the International Youth Council on Gender Equality (IYCGE). Tasked with maintaining the council’s financial health, the department ensures that all initiatives are supported through transparent, sustainable, and ethically managed resources.
At its core, the Financial Operations Department focuses on financial planning, budgeting, and responsible allocation of funds. The team oversees donor relations, sponsorship management, and financial compliance, while also creating partnerships that strengthen the council’s long-term growth.
Beyond managing day-to-day operations, the department plays a crucial role in ensuring that every investment and expenditure advances IYCGE’s mission of global equity and youth empowerment.

Senior Interns in the Financial Operations Department assist with budget drafting, donor coordination, and the preparation of financial reports that guide major organizational decisions. They support the Director by maintaining accurate records, tracking expenditures, and ensuring all financial activities meet internal compliance standards.
