Communications Department
Head of Department: Patricia Orry Ginting, Director of Communications
The Communications Department serves as the voice and storytelling hub of the International Youth Council on Gender Equality (IYCGE). As the team responsible for shaping and sharing the council’s message, it ensures that IYCGE’s mission of advancing gender equality, amplifying youth voices, and fostering global collaboration is effectively communicated across all platforms and audiences.
At the core of the department’s responsibilities is media and public engagement. The team manages multimedia content creation, public relations campaigns, and both internal and external communications, ensuring that the council’s initiatives reach a wide and diverse audience. Beyond this, the Communications Department oversees International communication outreach, coordinating with global partners, media outlets, and other stakeholders.
Senior Communication Interns
Senior Interns in the Communications Department play a key role in shaping the council’s public presence and global storytelling. They assist in developing communication strategies, support multimedia content creation, and help coordinate outreach efforts across social media, press channels, and partner networks.
