The Office of The Chairperson
The Office of the Chairperson serves as the central leadership
hub of the International Youth Council on Gender Equality (IYCGE).
As the guiding force of the council, the office ensures that our
mission of advancing gender equality, amplifying youth voices, and fostering global collaboration is consistently prioritized across all initiatives and programs.

At the core of the office’s responsibilities is leadership. The Chairperson, along with their team, presides over council meetings, board meetings, and strategic sessions, providing direction and ensuring that discussions translate into actionable plans.

Beyond meetings, the Office of the Chairperson oversees the council’s organizational development. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, strengthening internal processes, and fostering partnerships with external stakeholders such as NGOs, governmental bodies, and international organizations.

The office also coordinates communication, advocacy, and programmatic initiatives. From issuing official statements to supporting campaigns and events, the Chairperson’s office plays a key role in amplifying the council’s mission to a global audience.​
I am Adam Alkazely, proud to serve as the Chairperson of the International Youth Council on Gender Equality. My role is to lead with vision, integrity, and a commitment to empowering youth worldwide. I work alongside a dedicated team to ensure that every member of the council is supported, heard, and able to contribute meaningfully to our shared objectives.
